Responsible for planning, budgeting, implementation and support of Microsoft, Novell, Cisco and other technologies to accommodate rapid growth of a financial consulting company managing $14 billion in client assets. I was featured by Microsoft in a business success story for use on their web site and marketing materials.
Recent major upgrades and projects completed include Cisco AVVID IP phone system rollout, Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange 2000, SQL Server 2000, ColdFusion MX, and Windows XP deployment to all desktops. Other technologies used include Citrix, IIS, Veritas, Netware, Cisco switches, PIX firewall and VPNs.
Developed programs to automate the collection and reporting of financial data using SQL, Visual Basic, VBA, MS Access, FoxPro, and MS Office. Developed and maintained the company web site featuring secure report downloads to clients. Resulting efficiency improvements allowed the firm to more than triple their assets under management without increasing headcount during an eight year period.
Well versed in a wide variety of financial analysis software including Ibbotson, Mobius, Morningstar, Zephyr, and TechFi's SQL server based portfolio management system.
